Our greatest burden in being a part of the Body of Christ is a fundamental one. It is to lead as many people to Jesus Christ for the sake of their destiny. For years our mandate has embraced the command Jesus gave to His followers thousands of years ago, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:15,16).
The sheer profundity of any person “being condemned” to a Christ-less eternity is something beyond that which the human mind can conceive. If we consider the reality of any person not believing in Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life (forevermore) and realize that they are assigning themselves to that abode we call hell, should not this burden us to earnest action? If your gifting is that of an evangelist, it brings great burden upon those who are.
Body of Christ Connect has developed an outreach program that not only works for churches, but is one that even individuals can partake in as well. The combination of the Tract-A-Thon outreach that invites your neighbors or any target group into a study of the some of the greatest and most powerful proof and evidence for Jesus Christ is exactly what western non-believers need this day. We need to recognize that a serious majority of people do not believe in Jesus because our secular/humanistic influences have told them so. For this reason, we believe the combination of Tract-A-Thon, Amazing Evidence Presentations whether in a church or neighborhood setting can be one of the most powerful evangelistic tools available to the body of Christ.
We would like to help guide and train your congregation for the initial outreaches involving Tract-A-Thon. Following this initial outreach, we would very much be willing to help conduct Church led Amazing Evidence Cell Groups with a view and hope that others will desire to begin Amazing Evidence Neighborhood Groups. It is very important to recognize that if your church members will reach out into their spheres of influence (work, neighborhoods, apartments, co-workers, classmates, etc.), the potential for incredible church growth can take place. We are also willing to help out individuals who desire to evangelize their spheres of influence with this unique evangelistic outreach. What we believe is so attractive about an initial Tract-A-Thon outreach is the nature of its non-threatening approach. Practically anyone can go up to a door and leave a door hanging baggy.
We want to emphasize that even if all one did was to employ Tract-A-Thon, simply such an outreach could leave Gospel seed for an entire neighborhood or group of people which constitutes your target area. Even if you did not follow-up with any other direct interaction, you are still leaving precious seed for the Gospel to reach hearts. Even if this is all you did, it is still very significant and the Lord would be so pleased. Certainly, it’s better than no outreach taking place at all! May we recommend that if you consider only using Tract-A-Thon as an outreach tool, conducting 3 to 4 Tract-A-Thon sorties within a year would have serious impact. What a wonderful witness this would be.
