Who is the Body of Christ Connect?

Body of Christ Connect is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization that was originally founded in 1991 as the Body of Christ, Inc. in Massachusetts.  Upon moving to Florida and becoming involved in the communities of both Sarasota and Bradenton, FL to sponsor the March For Jesus and so forth, the board of directors found it prudent to incorporate the ministry titled Body of Christ of Southwest Florida, Inc.  

Through the 90’s, it hosted the March For Jesus in Sarasota and began it’s first Tract-A-Thon foray in conjunction with Encounter ‘95 with Steve Wingfield Ministries. It has also conducted, “Beach Reach Praise and Worship” outreaches at Siesta Beach, Sarasota as well as Praise and Worship events in New England and other venues. It also was able to launch a total of five billboards in the Tulsa, OK area (see “Billboard Evangelism Strategy” on Home page) that gave visual witness of Jesus for a three month period, reaching out visually to over 600,000 souls on a conservative level.  

Today, as in the past, the Body of Christ Connect’s goal is to unite and network the Lord’s believers to fulfill the Lord’s mission. This includes, but is not limited to, expressing love to one another, being a blessing to each other (i.e. Blessed Home Program) and facilitating their God given giftings and callings to help mobilize each other for the Great Commission. Moreover and most significant, Body of Christ Connect has as its mandate to share Christ to all, “so none will perish”.  In this regard, this organization is very evangelistically driven.  Besides the outlined mission initiatives as outlined in this website, Body of Christ Connect has been a member and promoter of the OMC (Original Manatee County) for unity, awakening and revival.

Body of Christ Connect is presently operating under the umbrella of Galations 6:2, a Christian holding company for tax exempt privileges, oversight and accountability for which we are most thankful and truly blessed.

Who is the President of the Body of Christ Connect?

Cindy graduated from the International School of Ministry in 2013 and received her ordination as minister in 2014 from Rev. Don Richter of Harvest Preparation International which she worked with for over three years.  She also became missions director at Fellowship of Believers where both attended for over 20 years.  She also helped institute the Sarasota Bible School where she taught mission courses. She was also over Prayer Link with the Original Manatee County organization (OMC).
